Trauma Informed Domestic Abuse Practitioner

Fixed term contract until 30th April 2020 with the possibility of extension subjected to funding

37 hours per week

Salary £25,951 - £26,822 and partial contribution towards cost of clinical supervision  

Stockport Without Abuse is a highly regarded, specialist charity educating, supporting and empowering individuals & families affected by domestic abuse.

An exciting opportunity has risen within SWA to work in a new Greater Manchester partnership to deliver Trauma Informed Domestic Violence Interventions to victims with complex needs and history of Trauma to maintain stability, improve internal safety and increase external safety.

Main purpose of the post: 

To develop and deliver a range of Trauma Informed domestic abuse interventions to women experiencing domestic abuse who also have complex needs and history of trauma and in need to accessing or maintaining safe and stable living environment . This role may also include working in advisory capacity to our domestic abuse partners to develop client centered trauma informed care plan for women accessing refuge accommodations across our partner agencies.
