Housing & Moving On Support

At Stockport Without Abuse we recognise that making decisions about your relationship can be overwhelming. This can include moving on from an abusive relationship, seeking emergency accommodation or being supported to move on from temporary accommodation. Our Moving On team provide risk focused, person centred support to help you to make decisions that are safe and sustainable, preventing homelessness.

Our Moving On team offer:

·         support and empowerment to victims to build and maintain their resilience and confidence;

·         holistic support, making interventions to help build upon existing strengths and support networks to enhance resilience, develop self-esteem and minimise the threat of harm

·         Support individuals moving on from a high risk relationship and remaining in their own home, or moving on from emergency accommodation
